On November 1st, SMIC Academy is offering the PreACT (primarily for 10th graders) and the PreACT 8/9 (for 8th-9th graders). The test is the same format as the ACT just fewer questions and a shorter test time.  There is no writing section to these tests.  It offers an economical way to get an introduction to the ACT and how to manage a timed test like this.  Feel free to share this with other students you know who might be interested in testing with us.
 
The cost is $25/SMICA student and $35/non-SMICA student. SMICA families should log in to sign-up and pay on the SMICA website.
